A young man holds a huge five-liter bottle of water and slowly eats the water with a spoon over an absurdly long period, while an elapsed-time counter climbs past six hours. The joke is the exaggerated commitment to consuming water as if it were a meal, ending with him exhausted and distressed. Duster’s melancholic lo-fi song “Me and the Birds” makes the mundane challenge feel dramatically tragic and surreal.
