Junji Ito Finds It Scary

Text on the meme

Hello, I’m Junji Ito and I’m a horror manga author. That was very scary.

What it means

Junji Ito introduces himself as a horror manga author, then reacts with fear to a cute-looking cat suddenly revealing huge sharp teeth. The joke contrasts his expertise in horror with an unexpectedly frightening moment from Azumanga Daioh, making it useful as a reaction to something deceptively scary.
