Idris Elba Suddenly in Night City

Stanley: Helloooo there, Night Cityyyy! Stanley: Stanley here with ya, and we got another day ahead of us in this city of dreams.

A stylish music-video-like sequence follows Idris Elba performing in a neon nightclub before cutting to a low-angle Cyberpunk 2077 street scene, where Stanley welcomes viewers to Night City. The joke comes from the abrupt transition from a glamorous musical performance to an in-game broadcast, making the dramatic “city of dreams” introduction feel hilariously overproduced. The clip uses Idris Elba’s song “Choke Hold” to amplify the surreal, cinematic mood.
