Local Bloke Utterly Obsessed By Roman Empire Because He Too Would Like To Be Destroyed By Goths

What it means

A serious-looking man is shown beside three goth women. The caption jokes about the popular idea that men obsess over the Roman Empire, imagining that this man’s real motivation is wanting to be destroyed by goths. It is used as an absurd reaction to someone’s intense or suspiciously specific interest. EN: A serious-looking man is shown beside three goth women.
