You Are Here: Russia and America
1910's 2020's 1. Capitalism 1. Capitalism 2. Communist named "Joseph" takes power 2. Communist named "Joseph" takes power 3. Go to war against Estonia 3. Go to war against Estonia YOU ARE HERE
A two-column comparison shows the Russian flag in the 1910s and the American flag in the 2020s, with both timelines listing capitalism, a communist named Joseph taking power, and war against Estonia. The joke satirically compares political history and suggests that the United States is repeating a supposedly Russian historical trajectory; the red arrow and “YOU ARE HERE” mark the current stage.
