Me When Depeche Mode Plays
Me when Depeche Mode:
A man in a white T-shirt energetically dances and gestures in the middle of a cheering street crowd, then keeps dancing as the scene shifts outdoors. The joke is that Depeche Mode’s moody synth-pop supposedly transforms the speaker into an intensely enthusiastic dancer; the song “Enjoy the Silence” by Depeche Mode plays over the clip, creating a funny contrast between its cool, melancholic mood and the exaggerated movement.
