I Tried So Hard and Got Sofa

I tried so hard and got sofa

A person wears a white T-shirt featuring the phrase “I tried so hard and got sofa” above a simple drawing of a couch. The joke is a pun on the lyric “I tried so hard and got so far,” replacing “so far” with “sofa” to express giving up and ending up sitting on the couch. It works as a self-deprecating reaction to effort that led nowhere or to laziness.
