Americans Measure Fish With Keys

americans will use anything but the metric system Measure length with objects First grade Use keys to measure the fish. The fish is about ☐ keys long.

EN: The meme mocks the American habit of using unusual household objects instead of the metric system: a first-grade exercise asks students to measure a fish using keys. The joke comes from the absurdity of this measuring method and the stereotype that Americans dislike the metric system.
