Yoshi Says Turn It Up

Turn the Volume all the way up!! You can trust me See, you can trust mo

A green Yoshi-like character first tells you to turn the volume all the way up and insists, “You can trust me.” The clip then cuts to a more suspicious-looking Yoshi while Randy Newman’s “Monsters, Inc.” music plays, making the reassuring setup feel like an ominous bait-and-switch joke. It works as a reaction to someone claiming something is completely safe or trustworthy when it clearly is not.
