Too Busy Cooking Tonight

Text on the meme

“i can’t go out i’m busy tonight” me being busy:

What it means

A man spends the evening intensely preparing instant noodles in a dim kitchen, then settles down to eat them while smoking and drinking. The joke is that “being busy” is an exaggerated excuse for staying home and enjoying a deliberately lazy comfort-food night. The clip is set to The Isley Brothers’ smooth, moody funk-soul track “Footsteps In the Dark (Pt. 1 & 2),” whose laid-back groove makes the trivial noodle ritual feel dramatically important.
