Can't Wait for 2023
can't wait for 2023
A pink cartoon figure tumbles and floats across a glitchy collage of wildfires, explosions, destruction, and bleak landscapes while the caption says “can't wait for 2023.” The joke is dark sarcasm: the character appears excited for a new year even though the surrounding imagery suggests that disaster and chaos are guaranteed to continue. An eerie singing-bowl-like sound gives the clip a dreamy, ominous mood and makes the absurd anticipation feel more dramatic.
