Anime Room Notes from Underground
THROW YOURSELF FEEL PENGUIN CLASSICS FYODOR DOSTOEVSKY Notes from Underground
A cluttered basement room filled with anime figures, posters, old computers, and monitors is presented like the cover of Fyodor Dostoevsky’s Notes from Underground. The joke contrasts the stereotypical shut-in anime collector’s underground room with the serious literary title, making it a reaction to extreme isolation, nerdiness, or basement-dwelling behavior.
