Turn the Volume All the Way Up
Turn the Volume all the way up!! You can trust me See, you can trust me
A green Yoshi-like character first tells the viewer to turn the volume all the way up and insists, “You can trust me.” The clip then switches to a closer image repeating “See, you can trust me” while Randy Newman’s “Monsters, Inc.” music plays, making the innocent-looking promise feel like a comedic setup for unexpectedly loud or mischievous audio. It is used as a bait-and-switch reaction meme when someone wants others to turn up the sound.
