Go Ahead, Touch Grass

GO AHEAD

An anime girl appears under the caption “GO AHEAD,” then the clip cuts to a man aggressively driving a large yellow riding mower through a wooded yard and overgrown grass. The joke is a literal, wildly overenthusiastic interpretation of “touch grass,” turning internet advice to reconnect with nature into chaotic lawn-mowing action. The energetic music, National Radio Official’s “Bosanska Artiljerija,” gives the mowing a dramatic, triumphant intensity that heightens the absurdity.
