Mikhail Rodionov Flag Proposal
Mikhail Rodionov From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Mikhail Ivanovich Rodionov (Russian: Михаил Иванович Родионов; 25 October [O.S. 12 October] 1907 – 1 October 1950) was a Soviet-Russian statesman who was from 1946 to 1949 the Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the Russian SFSR, literally meaning Premier or Prime Minister.[1] He created a proposal for a new state flag of the RSFSR. It consisted of a traditional tricolour flag and a hammer and a sickle in the middle of the flag. Because of his proposal, he was accused of nationalism in 1950, at the Leningrad Affair case. He was executed in the aftermath of the Leningrad Affair. He was a close companion of Alexei Kosygin. Mikhail Rodionov Михаил Родионов
A Wikipedia screenshot about Soviet statesman Mikhail Rodionov highlights the claims that he proposed a new RSFSR flag and was executed after being accused of nationalism. The joke comes from presenting an obscure, bizarre historical detail in the dramatic style of a meme reaction, suitable for sharing when an unexpectedly minor idea has extreme consequences.
