Bush Accidentally Says Iraq
Russian elections are rigged. Political opponents are imprisoned or otherwise eliminated from participating in the electoral process. The result is an absence of checks and balances in Russia and the decision of one man to launch a wholly unjustified and brutal invasion of Iraq. Iraq. Anyway.
George W. Bush speaks at a podium about Russian elections, political repression, and unchecked power, but accidentally says that one man launched an unjustified invasion of Iraq before awkwardly repeating “Iraq” and moving on. The clip is paired with the heavy metal song “Forever War” by Hallowed, whose dramatic, warlike mood amplifies the mistake and makes the correction even more comedic.
