I Wanna Watch

Text on the meme

So my lesbian friend and her gf came over today and gave me my early birthday gift I don't wanna be ungrateful or... sound ungrateful It's not what I meant when I said I wanna watch

What it means

A shaky close-up video reveals a gold wristwatch in a gift box. The speaker says they wanted to “watch” something, but their lesbian friend and her girlfriend interpreted it as wanting a watch, creating a pun and an awkward birthday-gift reaction. It is used as an absurd reaction meme about misunderstandings and unwanted gifts.
