I Quit Being a Furry

I QUIT being a Her dad: After five years on the East Coast, it was time to go home.

A young woman holds a large white furry animal head and appears to announce, “I quit being a furry.” The clip then cuts to a low-resolution scene of a silhouetted father escorting a child into an airport, captioned “After five years on the East Coast, it was time to go home,” turning the statement into an absurd joke about a parent forcibly ending the furry phase. The song “Working, Winning, Dying (Intro)” by 1700dion adds a melodramatic, bleakly comedic mood that makes the abrupt reveal funnier.
