Free Extra Thick Milkshake

Text on the meme

We made you an extra thick milkshake free of charge!

What it means

Three anime-style waitresses present an extra-thick milkshake while a man in a blue shirt drinks from a large mug below. The joke is the contrast between the cheerful, suggestive-looking offer and the man’s increasingly blank, uncomfortable reaction after tasting it, making it useful as an absurd reaction video. The clip is accompanied by The Caretaker’s melancholic, distorted hauntological music, which makes the mundane drink feel strangely ominous and amplifies the awkward punchline.
