Watching the English Channel

An absurd 3D animation shows a ball and cone beside a remote control, with a map of Europe in the background; the ball later becomes a strange wrinkled face before the clip cuts to a rainy night street. The spoken joke treats the English Channel as something you can watch on television, while “up past the remote place” turns the remote control and the geographical location into surreal visual wordplay. It works as a bizarre reaction video with atmospheric rain and thunder-like ambience, ending on a dark channel end card. What are you watching? I'm watching the English Channel. The English Channel. Up past the remote place.
