9 to 5 on the way to murder

Me listening to songs about selling drugs and killing people on my way to a regular 9-5 job Me listening to Dolly Parton’s “9 to 5” while on my way to my job of selling drugs and killing people

An anime-style video shows people riding in a car while the caption shifts from listening to songs about selling drugs and killing people on the way to a regular 9-to-5 job to specifically listening to Dolly Parton’s “9 to 5” while heading to that criminal job. The upbeat country-pop song makes the contrast absurd: the cheerful office-work anthem becomes a soundtrack for a comically sinister commute, making it useful as a reaction to hypocritical, chaotic, or morally questionable workdays.
