A screenshot shares a Victorian slang term, “got the morbs,” meaning temporary melancholia, and asks whether people can revive it. The reply “monkey paw finger curls” jokes that the wish is granted in an unintended, ominous way, implying the commenter has suddenly developed the morbs.
