Pointed Kitchen Knife News Contradiction
The Telegraph Ban sales of pointed kitchen knives as there is no reason for them in modern society The Telegraph Britain's first stab-proof kitchen knife launched in bid to combat knife crime BBC Police stop publishing seized knives pictures Police force has stopped publishing images of knives seized in amnesties to avoid upsetting the public.
A collage juxtaposes contradictory news headlines about pointed kitchen knives: one calls for banning them, while another announces a stab-proof knife, alongside a BBC report about stopping the publication of seized-knife pictures. The joke is the absurd inconsistency and overprotective tone of the headlines, making this useful as a reaction to contradictory news or bureaucratic absurdity.
