Woke Dictionary Definition

Woke /wōk/ informal • US (adj.) A state of awareness only achieved by those dumb enough to find injustice in everything except their own behavior.

A faux dictionary entry defines “woke” as awareness supposedly achieved by people who see injustice everywhere except in their own behavior. The joke is a sarcastic attack on perceived hypocrisy in social-justice activism, presented in a mock reference-book format.
