One Character Too Many

Yoko, Shinobu, Aya. One character too many. Ayaya! S-Stop...

In a classroom, Aya introduces several girls, but realizes that “Ayaya” contains one character too many for her name. Alice repeatedly excitedly calls out “Ayaya!” while Aya becomes increasingly overwhelmed, turning the wordplay into an escalating anime reaction gag. The cheerful music and repeated childlike calls make the joke feel increasingly frantic and absurd.
