Stop Reading Sheet Music
STOP READING SHEET MUSIC YOU'VE OVERCOMPLICATED MAKING SOUNDS • Sounds were never meant to be math • Let noise just be • Free Yourself From This mind prison This is not music this is the devils handwriting Cryptic emoji Evil Bird THEY HAVE PLAYED US FOR ABSOLUTE FOOLS
The image humorously argues that sheet music is an unnecessarily complicated way to represent sound, comparing musical notation to the devil’s handwriting, a cryptic emoji, and an evil bird. The punchline is the dramatic claim that musicians have been fooled into treating abstract symbols as music itself.
