Evangelion Merch Reveal
Guys!! My evangelion merch came in!!
A young woman excitedly announces that her Evangelion merchandise has arrived, gesturing enthusiastically before revealing a small bottle held in her hand. The punchline is the absurdly anticlimactic reveal: instead of recognizable anime goods, the “merch” appears to be a medicine or supplement bottle. Yoko Takahashi’s dramatic “The Cruel Angel’s Thesis” makes the trivial reveal feel hilariously epic, so the clip works as a reaction to overhyping something mundane.
