Putin Explains Pickle Persecution

"the West is poisoned by gender ideology. For example, i saw a cartoon, for children, about a grandpa and his grandson. In one episode, the grandpa undergoes procedure to transform into a pickle. Men cannot become pickles. Men are men. Pickles are pickles. this is perversion" Putin cites author JK Rowling as evidence the West engages in “cancel culture”

A screenshot of two sarcastic tweets frames Vladimir Putin discussing a children’s cartoon in which a grandfather transforms into a pickle, presenting the absurd plot as evidence of gender ideology. The joke mocks anti-“woke” rhetoric and Putin’s claimed use of JK Rowling to criticize Western “cancel culture.” EN: A screenshot of two sarcastic tweets frames Vladimir Putin discussing a children’s cartoon in which a grandfather transforms into a pickle, presenting the absurd plot as evidence of gender ideology.
