Germany's Contradictory Energy Policy

>shuts off all nuclear power plants >shuts off coal power plants >doesn't invest in renewable energy anymore >builds gas power plants >builds nord stream 2 to immediately kill it >stops importing Russian gas >???

A distorted Germany-themed character stands in front of the German flag while a caption lists contradictory energy-policy decisions, ending with confusion over stopping Russian gas imports after building Nord Stream 2. The joke mocks perceived hypocrisy and self-defeating decisions in Germany’s energy policy, so it is sent as a reaction to absurd political contradictions.
