Vergil Trapped in a Gacha Game

Text on the meme

>DMC V ends with Dante and Vergil being stuck in hell >Next time they show up again is in an anime gacha game What is Capcom implying here?

What it means

Vergil from Devil May Cry appears with a suspicious, contemplative expression. The joke points out that Dante and Vergil end up trapped in Hell in Devil May Cry V, then return in an anime-style gacha game, implying that Capcom is treating the characters like endlessly recycled game-service content.
