Manual Driver in an Automatic

Text on the meme

Manual drivers when they get in an automatic *Approaches a stop sign*

What it means

A manual-transmission driver sits in an automatic car and instinctively searches for a clutch and shifts awkwardly while approaching a stop sign. The joke is that manual drivers feel lost without their familiar pedals and gear changes, escalating into chaotic contortions inside the car. Celeste’s melancholic song “Strange” plays over the scene, making the struggle feel dramatically over-serious and funnier.
