Toronto Mayor Gets Lobotomized

Text on the meme

Toronto Mayor Ford admits he and the people of Toronto are ‘drained’ By Paula Newton and Jason Hanna, CNN updated 7:51 AM EST, Wed November 6, 2013 VOICE OF ROBYN DOOLITTLE INVESTIGATIVE REPORTER, THE TORONTO STAR CBC News Today MINE KITTIE 3333

What it means

A news clip shows Toronto mayor Rob Ford being interviewed by reporters, then rapidly transforms him through increasingly chaotic anime, goth, lightning, sparkle, and internet-edit effects. The joke is that the headline saying he is “drained” is reinterpreted as a bizarre lobotomy or energy-draining fantasy montage, with the intense music making the escalating edits feel absurdly dramatic. It works as a reaction video for feeling mentally exhausted, overstimulated, or completely brain-rotted. The audio uses Gronk4467’s “Free Lobotomy,” an abrasive, chaotic electronic track that amplifies the surreal punchline.
