72 Is Not a Coincidence

remember that 72 (and its multiples 108. 144. and 216) is a meme number in astrology and many religions as well as schizo /biz/ lore, and they died at 72. >number of faces on the cambodian temples >importance in the great year of procession >islam's 72 virgins >Christ's 72 disciples >72 disciples of confucius >144,000 angels >108 prayer beads in buddhism (72 = 2/3 108, 1/3 216) >6 men from each of the 12 tribes of israel and numerous other mentions in the old testament and jewish texts >external angles of a pentagram are equal to 72 degrees >/biz/ - business and finance in gematria = 216 >and this happened 13 years to the day after the creation of bitcoin this is not a coincidence, this is higher powers at work.

The meme presents an anonymous imageboard post listing religious, astrological, historical, and occult associations with the numbers 72, 108, 144, and 216. It then connects the number 72 to Bitcoin’s creation date and jokingly concludes that supernatural higher powers are at work. This is shared as an absurd conspiracy-theory reaction to patterns that seem meaningful only because of selective connections.
