Backend Dev Job Mix-Up
I landed a job as a backend Dev It's been 2 months since I've landed the job and I'm just making/designing icons I dunno how to use photoshop (they do teach me how to use it though) but I want to work as a Dev. should I tell my boss? Isn't that a scam? That's a job for web designers Is it? I mean the people are nice here, no extra work and they give me decent salary. I just don't like the work I'm doing I mean something is wrong if they're using you as a web designer even though they had an opening for a backend Dev. If you like it don't mind though hey, the backend Dev from the post before I told my boss about the situation and he was surprised and said he'll talk to the HR In conclusion there was another person who landed a job at the same time as me and our positions were switched I was speechless This firm was quite big but idk why this happened I met and talked with the guy who had my switched position and never having any experience in programming this dude learned programming and did the job for 2 whole months Anyways it was a unique experience starting tomorrow i'm a real Dev!!!
A forum screenshot shows a supposed backend developer who has spent two months designing icons instead of programming. After speaking with the boss, he discovers that his position was accidentally swapped with another employee, who had no programming experience but learned enough to do the backend job. The joke is the absurd workplace mix-up and the triumphant reveal that he will finally become a real developer.
