Offer of Employment Withdrawn

Update: Offer of employment Hi [redacted], You recently received an offer of employment from [redacted] for our 2027 summer internship programme. Unfortunately we are withdrawing this offer, as it was issued in error. It was intended for applicants who placed in the 90th percentile of our applicant pool, and was sent instead to those in the 10th. Please accept our sincere apologies for the mistake. We understand this is not the news you were hoping to receive, but good luck with your continued job search. Sincerely,

A Gmail-style email screenshot shows an employment offer being withdrawn because it was mistakenly sent to applicants in the 10th percentile instead of the 90th percentile. The joke is the brutally direct rejection and humiliating reversal, making it useful as a reaction to bad luck, failure, or being told an opportunity was sent to the wrong person.
