Claude Code on Windows 3.51
claude code on windows 3.51 nt natively, opус still doesn't want to believe it. Microsoft (R) Windows NT (TM) Program Manager Version 3.51 (Build 1057) Copyright © 1985-1995 Microsoft Corp. Though the very output is odd — "Windows NT Version 3.51" is not the format real Windows prints (it'd be Microsoft Windows Version 10.0.xxxxx), and NT 3.51 is from 1995 (that couldn't run Node, so that string is spoofed, emulated, or a shim. My actual evidence for "Windows" is the harness's env block and the fact that cmd /c works at all — not that version banner).
The meme combines a fake Windows NT 3.51 desktop with a Claude Code terminal running inside it. Claude insists that the environment is not really Windows because the version banner looks spoofed and Windows NT 3.51 could not run modern Node.js, while the retro interface is visibly convincing. The joke is about an AI overanalyzing obvious visual evidence and refusing to believe that Claude Code is running natively on an absurdly old operating system.
