Correlation Does Not Imply Causation
I USED TO THINK CORRELATION IMPLIED CAUSATION. THEN I TOOK A STATISTICS CLASS. NOW I DON'T. SOUNDS LIKE THE CLASS HELPED. WELL, MAYBE.
A three-panel stick-figure comic shows someone explaining that they once thought correlation implied causation, but no longer does after taking a statistics class. Another character points out that the class seems to have helped, creating an ironic example of correlation that may or may not imply causation.
