No Updates From Me

Text on the meme

big day coming up prepare to say "no updates from me" 6:15–11AM standup recover from saying "no updates from me" 11:20AM–6:20PM

What it means

A work calendar is packed with a long block for preparing to say “no updates from me,” followed by a standup and an even longer block to recover from saying it. The joke is about the disproportionate stress and exhaustion of giving a status update at work. People send it as a reaction to meetings, standups, burnout, or having nothing to report.
