Software Developers Are a Scam
I work in IT but I actually have no idea why software developers are in demand. What the hell do all these people even do? There are like 8 websites. I have never found a problem that can’t be solved with Microsoft Access. Software developers are scamming everybody by just making everything look difficult. These people spend more time on their build chains and python environment than doing anything that benefits humanity. The biggest scam about programmers is they barely program! They have these cheatsheets they pass around called “libraries” where the good programmers have already made the important stuff, and the normal ones just chain it together! Most of the code they run isn’t theirs!
A dark-mode social media thread sarcastically argues that software developers are unnecessary because there are only a few websites, every problem can be solved with Microsoft Access, and programmers mostly reuse libraries and configuration tools. The joke mocks anti-programming takes by exaggerating how little developers supposedly do and treating modern development workflows as a scam.
