The iPhone Is Too Large
Apple iPhone Now REAL!!! 0.46 inches 11.6mm 2.4 inches 61mm 4.5 inches 115mm I don't get it. Who's gonna want a phone that's as large as an iPod - and looks like an iPod? Sure, it worked for music. But for a phone? Meh. This will never catch on.
A Reddit screenshot shows an early iPhone beside its dimensions and a skeptical comment rejecting it as an oversized iPod. The joke is that the commenter confidently predicts the iPhone will never succeed, creating hindsight humor because smartphones like it became hugely popular.
