Seven Years Until Merge
Okay this is awesome. I'll test it out and merge when I get home. Thanks! Sorry for rushing this a bit, but got home yet?
A screenshot of two software comments shows someone promising to test and merge code when they get home in 2013, followed by a 2020 follow-up asking whether they have arrived yet. The joke is the absurdly long delay, parodying procrastination and unfinished software work.
