I invented the UML
We need a standard way to visualizing both the architecture as well as the activity of an LLM (and to generalize, of any artificial neural network). Sort of a UML for AI. If you knew anything at all about UML, you’d know that it’s already capable of this. Um. Dude. I invented the UML.
A Twitter exchange shows someone proposing a standard visual language for describing AI architecture and activity, followed by a reply pointing out that UML already does this. The original poster then awkwardly claims, “I invented the UML,” making the joke about ignorance, misplaced confidence, and accidental self-owning. It is used as a reaction to someone suggesting an existing solution as if it were a new invention.
