Normalize Too Many Things

I feel like we normalize too many things these days like I'm being asked to normalize the vectors to produce an ortho normal set I don't think we should normalize that

A young woman in a dark hoodie speaks to the camera, then the video cuts to a laptop showing a mathematical exercise about normalizing vectors to produce an orthonormal set. She objects that society normalizes too many things, turning the technical term “normalize” into an absurd complaint about mathematical normalization. It works as a reaction to something that should not be accepted or treated as normal.
