ZIP Files as Postcode Files

Text on the meme

Lol, my fellow brits using Windows 11 with en-GB in the Insider Program might have noticed that MS has mistranslated ZIP files as "postcode" files in the latest builds. Open Add to Favorites Compress to postcode file Copy as path Ctrl+Shift+C Properties Alt+Enter OneDrive Show more options

What it means

A Windows 11 context menu shows the option “Compress to postcode file” instead of “Compress to ZIP file.” The joke is about Microsoft mistranslating “ZIP” as “postcode” for British English users, making a familiar file-compression action sound like creating a postcode file.
