Python Import Toolboxes

import os from os import *

A Python programming joke compares importing the os module to opening a toolbox, while importing everything from os is shown as scattering all the tools across the table. The punchline is that wildcard imports clutter the workspace and make it unclear where each tool came from, so programmers often avoid them.
