What Does This Even Mean

Text on the meme

I- What does this even mean Hello Jeffrey, Unfortunately due to company policy, we are unable to offer positions to people with the name Jeffrey since it will not work with our database schema

What it means

A dark-themed social media post shows someone reacting with “What does this even mean” to an email rejecting Jeffrey solely because the name supposedly conflicts with the company’s database schema. The joke is the absurdly arbitrary technical excuse for discrimination, treating a person’s name as if it were an incompatible database value.
