Zuckerberg presents the Metaverse
Zuckerberg: Ladies and gentlemen, after $10 billion of development, I present to you... The Metaverse.
Zuckerberg presents a tiny cartoon avatar on a theater stage as the result of $10 billion of development. The joke mocks Meta’s expensive, highly publicized metaverse project by contrasting the huge investment with its unimpressive, simplistic appearance, making it useful as a sarcastic reaction to overhyped technology.
