Will C++ Ever Be Replaced?

Will C++ ever be replaced by other languages? C++ may be replaced by another language right after the following events occur: • USA changes to the Unit International System (meters and so on), • France, Germany and Spain understand that English is better and change to speak in English, • The same with China and Russia, • UK changes to drive to the right, • Japan follows the initiative of the UK, • The Democrats understand that the left ideas are wrong and vote massively to Trump, • China abandon the Yuan in favor of USD, • The same with Russia going to USD, • The Bolivian government changes and respects its own Constitution and stops trying to be re-elected indefinitely. Well, after all this happens, it is possible (only possible) for some C++ programmers to start thinking about switching to another language. Regards.

A text-based joke lists an absurd chain of unlikely geopolitical and cultural events that would need to happen before C++ programmers even considered switching languages. The punchline is that C++ loyalty is portrayed as nearly unbreakable, requiring the whole world to change first.
