Google, Meta, and Alphabet Introductions
I’m Google, by the way. Meta. Oh, we’re using our made-up names. Then I’m Alphabet.
Spider-Man and Doctor Strange introduce themselves using the names of major technology companies. The joke is that Google and Meta are “made-up” company names, so Google’s parent company Alphabet gets to use its own unusual name as a punchline. It works as a reaction to awkward introductions, corporate rebranding, or confusing company names.
