A photographed conference presentation slide titled “Results - Qualitative Comparisons” shows an image-inpainting comparison: an original scene, an input with a masked object, and several algorithms attempting to reconstruct the missing area. The joke comes from the absurdly imperfect comparison, where the methods produce visibly different and awkward restorations, making a technical research result look like a humorous reaction image.
